ACC 340 — Accounting Information Systems

This course introduces the student to the accounting information system and its relationship to management information and electronic commerce systems. Students will develop an understanding of database management systems, the systems development lifecycle, documentation, internal controls, transaction cycles and business processes. Legislation affecting information technology will also be discussed.
