About Longmeadow

Town of Longmeadow web site One of the most picturesque and attractive regions in the United States, Western Massachusetts/Pioneer Valley is known as the paradise for living, learning and visiting.  With easy access to New York City and Boston, at Bay Path you'll still be able to experience everything that New England is famous for—history, culture, music, theatre, restaurants, shopping, recreational activities, and much more!

Nearby Springfield is the financial and commercial center of the area.  Founded by William Pynchon in 1636, Springfield is one of the oldest cities in the country.  A hub of industrial and business activity, the city is perched on the banks of the Connecticut River and the surrounding area boasts many entertainment and recreational places, including Six Flags New England.

Located just north of Bay Path/Springfield is Northampton (MA), a city teeming with specialty shops and a nationally recognized live music and art scene.  It’s also a restaurant mecca with every type of cuisine available to suit your taste.  The Norwottuck Rail Trail Bike Path has a terminus in Northampton (over 20 miles in length), and the Mt. Tom range and state park has long been a hiking favorite.
