The Campus Theme Program
The Campus Theme brings the Bay Path community together to consider and discuss a common theme, issue, or question that impacts us all. The theme is introduced at the annual Women's Leadership Conference each spring and sustained for the next academic year through a variety of experiences and opportunities both in and out of the classroom. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to take part in:
- Workshops and events, including presentations by diverse speakers
- Classroom discussions
- Social events
- Bay Path traditions, such as Convocation
For the year 2012-2013 the community considers "Lead with Compassion."

School of Education: The Compassion Cam
First week of March, campus-wide
Get ready for your close-up and be on the lookout for the mysterious Compassion Cam! Take a moment to talk about how you lead with compassion in your life, how you plan to lead with compassion in your future career, or any other topic that relates to our campus theme. Then be sure to attend Academic Achievement Day on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 to watch the final Compassion Cam video that divulges how Bay Path College students, faculty, and staff are embracing this year’s theme. Flyers with Compassion Cam locations and times will be posted before the beginning of March.

Kaleidoscope Event
Film: “A Bottle in the Gaza Sea”

Set against the Israeli-Palestinian troubles of 2007-2008, this French film (with sub-titles) tells the story of a 17-year-old Frenchwoman who has settled in Jerusalem with her family. The young woman writes a letter expressing her refusal to accept that only hatred can reign between Israelis and Palestinians, and sets her letter adrift in a bottle in the sea near Gaza. Come see the film to learn what happens when the letter is found.

Prism: A Celebration of Women in the Arts

Celebrate the contributions of women in the arts through music, dance and word. These performances will feature the premiere of a new choral composition by New York-based composer, Rachel J. Peters, which will be performed by Bay Path College choirs as well as singers from area choirs. Featured performances by: Bay Path Choirs and Guest Singers, Dance Company, and solo performances.
