Parking Regulations
The Department of Campus Public Safety (CPS) regulates parking access and parking permits on the Bay Path College grounds. All students, staff and faculty are required to display a parking decal in their vehicle when parking on campus. There are designated parking areas for students, as well as faculty and staff areas that are strictly enforced. First-year and other student residents are allowed vehicles on campus on a first-come, first-serve basis, but are encouraged to park in specific areas. The parking decal is vehicle specific so you must notify CPS if you change your vehicle.
The campus speed limit is 15 mph. Vehicles must be operated in a safe and reasonable manner at all times. For pedestrians and vehicular safety, the upper-lower campus connecting road behind the Annex is ONE WAY. Drivers are expected to obey all traffic signs and yield for pedestrians. Short-term drop-off parking is allowed in front of all residence halls and in the Deepwood Circle. However, hazard lights must be displayed.
CPS maintains a list of all registered vehicles and a record of all vehicle violations. If a student receives a third parking violation, a sticker will be affixed to the driver’s side window stating that the next violation, or the fourth violation, will result in the vehicle being towed at the owner’s expense. Parking privileges will be revoked immediately for the remainder of the semester following a second tow of the owner’s vehicle. Fines appear on the student’s billing account, and should be paid in the Business Office. Unpaid fines may result in further charges, revocation of campus driving and/or parking privileges, and the delay or denial of grades, diplomas, and transcripts. The College reserves the right to revoke campus driving and/or parking privileges at any time.
Designated Parking Areas
LOT A: Commuters, Mollie Jean Carr Scholars (Continuing Ed.), One-Day-A-Week Saturday Program Students and Graduates. There is no overnight parking for students in this lot at anytime.
LOT B: Staff/Faculty parking daily until 5:00 P.M.; Open parking on weekends, holidays and after 5:00 P.M.
LOT C: All student parking, year round.
LOT D: All student parking, year round.
LOT E: All student parking, year round.
