Kelly Pincince
Preschool Director
Kelly Pincince came to the Bay Path College Preschool in August 2007 with 13 years of Preschool experience. She received both a bachelor’s degree in human development with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with a specialty in Family Studies from Wheelock College in Boston. She holds certifications in Pre-K-3 from the Massachusetts Department of Education; and Lead Teacher Infant, Toddler & Preschool and Director II from the Department of Early Education and Care. She is also certified in CPR and First Aid.
Ms. Pincince has been a member of three NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges) visiting committees and recently joined the local Community Partnership Council, an organization for Early Childhood Educators. She enjoys spending time with family, hearing live music and watching NASCAR, hockey and football.

Ms.Pincince lives in Chicopee, MA with her black Labrador Retriever, Bailey, and her cat, Simba.
Lauren Piasecki '05
Administrative Lead Teacher
Originally from Seaford, New York, Miss Lauren A. Piasecki has been working at the Bay Path College Preschool since September of 2005. She earned a B.A. in Liberal Studies with concentrations in Early Childhood Education and Child Psychology from Bay Path College. Through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, she holds Infant/Toddler Teacher, Preschool Lead Teacher, and Director I certifications. She is also certified in CPR and First Aid.
Lauren hopes to finish her Day Care Administration program through Holyoke Community College to conclude her Director II certification and enroll in a graduate program focusing on Special Education for levels PreK-8.
Miss Piasecki is a member of the Performing Arts Department and Alumni Council at Bay Path College. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, music, performing arts, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing at home with her cats, Oliver and Nemo in Chicopee, Massachusetts.

Kara Upperton
Preschool Lead Teacher
Kara Upperton has been working at the Bay Path College Preschool since October 2006, with many years of teaching experience. She received her B.A. in art and management from Regis College, M.A. course work in art history from Yale University and is currently working on a masters degree in education. Through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care she holds Infant/Toddler Teacher and Preschool Lead Teacher certifications. She is also certified in CPR and First Aid.
Mrs. Upperton is a member of Habitat for Humanity and the American Stroke Association. She enjoys painting, quilting, rowing, biking and traveling the world with her family. Mrs. Upperton lives in Longmeadow with her husband of twenty years and their two sons.
